The Seventh Master – 8

Val pushed himself off of the ground and looked about.
His head spun and he almost fell back down, but Jerun caught him.
“Sir, you’ve done it,” he whispered quietly, so only Val could hear him.
He looked up in the direction the strange wave of heat and light have come from.
His eyes popped wide.
“I reaved,” Val breathed.
“That you did, m’lord. That you did.” Jerun said softly.
There, just beyond the farthest tent of the festival, a great wall of jagged earth stood. It wrapped around the pavillions, and formed a half dome above the grounds.
Val turned in excitement, but when he did his eyes fell on the mountian. And the Citadel.
“No,”
