“Oh,” Val said. “I see.”
Jerun looked north. “So that’s where we’re going?”
“Yes,”
“This is going to take awhile, isn’t it?” Kasheyra asked.
“Yes,”
“Why did you have to grab me, anyway?” She frowned at Jerun.
He shrugged. “Seemed like a good idea at the time,”
“What, and its not now?”
“Well,” Jerun looked at Val for help.
“He did the right thing to bring you.” He turned away. “I’m going to need your help.”
He shook himself.
“Let’s go,”
“Don’t we at least get a short break?”
Val looked over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow.
“Why would you need one?”
“Cause I’m tiiired.”
